Back in September, Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo shocked their Facebook and Twitter fans by announcing that they were splitting after three years together. And though we may never know what really happened between them, one thing is certain – Jordin is not sitting around crying. In fact, she is doing better than ever!
Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo shocked their fans when they split back in September, with Derulo even hinting that the pressure of marriage was getting to him. And while Sparks has not opened up much about what what went wrong in their relationship, she is doing just fine these days. In a recent interview with Life & Style Magazine, Jordin admitted that she is no longer crying over the failed relationship.
Instead, Sparks said: “I can look back on it now, laugh and say ‘OK, that was a moment in time — it happened.’ Some relationships work, and some relationships don’t.” Obviously, hers didn’t work with Derulo. But after three years together, it’s got to be hard to break up, so just how did she do it? “Make sure your core people are around you. My mom and my dad were my rock. That’s something that I just – they were there even when I couldn’t speak and if I needed them,” Sparks continued.
Of course, it always helps to keep busy, and Jordin is keeping very busy these days. Not only is she working with the NFL’s women line, but she is also busy working on her third album, Right Here, Right Now.
